Coverage
Each rental is subject to the insurance coverage applicable to the specific vehicle. Coverage, exclusions, renter liability and the applicable excess/franchise must be stated in the Rental Agreement or relevant rental documentation. No blanket “full coverage” promise Do not publish a universal statement that every vehicle has “full coverage”, CDW, glass/tyre/underbody protection or another optional product unless ASTERIA’s actual insurance arrangements support that statement for the relevant vehicle. Renter responsibility Insurance does not necessarily remove the renter’s financial responsibility. Damage caused by excluded circumstances, serious misuse, unauthorised drivers or other breaches may remain chargeable subject to the policy, Rental Agreement and applicable law. Accident documentation After an accident or theft, the renter must contact ASTERIA promptly, follow instructions and obtain the legally/insurer-required report or documentation where applicable. Vehicle-specific information Where optional protection is genuinely offered, its price, scope, exclusions and effect on the renter’s excess should be communicated before purchase.
